About Hank Dunn
Hank Dunn, MDiv, is an ordained healthcare chaplain who, during his career of over 30 years, has helped countless patients and their families navigate healthcare decisions during serious illness.
He is a nationally renowned speaker on the topics of healthcare, end-of-life decision making, and spirituality. Hank’s top-selling books on healthcare decision making offer reliable information, practical advice, and emotional and spiritual support.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Hank received his Master of Divinity degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
He has served as president of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, on the Ethics Committees of the Fairfax Nursing Center and the Reston Hospital Center, and on the Chaplaincy Advisory Board for the Inova Loudoun Hospital Center. He also volunteered as a chaplain at Loudoun Hospital.
